my maytag bravo top load keeps saying F1 and will not work.

   maytag gas stove saying F1 and beeping. i have hit cancel and oven stop and other buttons but it just stops beeping for a little while and starts beeping again sometimes it may not do it for hrs but it always come back. last night it went off around 1:30 5 different times and again at 5:00

   The washer keeps saying f1 and shutting off. i need to restart it 3-4 times every single time i use it. ridiculous
