my rca projection hdtv monitor d56w20b shuts off 5mins of play and some

my rca hdtv monitor model no# d56w20b will play for 5 to 15 mins then
shut off by its self some times it will play up to 1 hr and half before
it shut off, have to wait 15 mins before you make it come back on thing that I have tryed is to unplug it for 15 mins I put surge plug in on it
still the same thing

    why is my rca hdtv monitor shuting off after 5 to 15 mins but some times it plays for a hour and half when it play over 15 mins i have to wait 15 mins
    before i can try to turn it on things that i have tryed unplug for 15 mins
    to reset its self and put on a surge plug whats wrong with this tv model#
