   When the second hand on a kinetic watch starts to move in 2 second intervals instead of the usual one second interval, the watches energy reserves are low. The kinetic watch should be recharged by gently swinging it in a small arc for  approximately 1 minute. If this does not work perhaps it is needing a new capacitor?
