outlining images in corel draw

How do I get an outline around the image? In publisher it is so easy to get a nice black simple frame around my pics. I have tried the outline tool in corel and nothing happens and no outline prints. What to do? Need to know asap, I have a deadline thats fast approaching.

    what i normally do is trace the object using trace tool. and after tracing is complete i delete the image leaving behind just the outline of it.
