phase linear uv8020 frozen screen and will not reset . what do i do

Reset it but will not turn back on unless I press the power and the volume button together , but still remains frozen

    I had the same problem today with my uv8020 i open the front screan to see the buttons if one was stuck and check the ribons to and i open the part to the eject button and i saw the cables to it where hiting each other i resolder both back and traid my screen was working fine it was the eject button was grounding on the other wire and it made the front buttons stop working hope it helps some one
