   Is the 244 more or les the same as the 243?

   The 244 is the same as the 6mm which uses the same 243/6mm bullet. The 243 and 6mm cartridges are diferent but the bullet is the same.
   The barrel twist in the .244 is 1-12 and the later 6mm is 1-9. You can shoot the 6mm cartridge in the 244 and vise versa but you can not shoot the 243 in either 244 or 6mm!
