Question:

scanner not responding to "on" button, and not recognized by computer

My scanner is connected properly and the green light is on, but it isn't responding when I press the on button, either to reset it or turn it off (usually it blinks, but here it stays constantly on), and it isn't being recognized by my computer.  I tried unplugging the scanner after unplugging it from my computer, but that didn't work, the green light came on, but the scanner appears to not be functioning.  What could be wrong and how can I fix this?

    According to our knowledge as you have said the the green light is getting on but after wards it does not work and does not recognize your computer means there are missing drivers in your computer which will support your scanner with your computer and after wards it will start scanning properly.
