I have my question regarding the working of a Steamer. The scenario is that I have bought two Hamilton beach espresso makers in the last four months. After using for some time I noticed that the steamer just stopped working on  both of them. For this reason I just want to know that what possibly could have gone wrong with the steamer?

Here are two solutions regarding the Hamilton steamers trouble shooting issues:

Does your  steam light turn on, when you turn on the steam switch, and stays turned on for few moments, and  soon turn’s  off  as  it comes up to temp?

If this is the case, then you need to check your plug, as it might be the case, that your wand may be by mistake, plugged to a dried plug.  A friend of mine resolved this issue by pouring hot boiling water into her steaming pitcher and letting the wand soak in that water for couple of  minutes,  after following this procedure, immediately   fire up the machine and let it heat for steam, then turn it off.  You will get the results after few consistent tries. You might also need a thin wire similar to a guitar string that you will wound around the wand to free the plug.

If the wand is plugged straight at the end of the nozzle, you can use a push-pin to clear it. The most effective solution for steamer related issue is that, when you are done with the steaming of milk you should flush it out during the process of cleaning the machine:  first wipe the nozzle, followed by an open valve, to see that no milk is sucked in the end of the nozzle, if you find it there immediately clear it.
