streeing problem,sometimes it gets tight

   Hi,
   Your power steering pump is most likely clogged up from the old fluid inside of the pump , usually when they get that bad it want be to long before it goes out,m so be really to replace it . For as your steering problem goes it could be a list of things that could be causing the shaking & wobbling.One could be that your tires are out of balance, the tie rods could be bad ,ball _ joints bad or the rack _ opinion is bad. Have your tires balance first, that's the cheapest thing you could do. The white smoke could be coming from a bad valve guides or bad rings on the pistons, if it's coming from a bad valve guide you will be Ok for a long time,if the rings are the cause of the smoke it's just going to get worst as time goes by. i,m not sure about the creaking sound that your talking about., but good luck to you any way.
