Question:

upright freezer alarm light and temperature still flashing even though it's -18

Yesterday when I went to put food in the freezer I saw the alarm light was flashing and temperature -10. No power cut. Turned off freezer to check connection and back on after one minute.Motor working. Set Super freeze. After 5 hours temperature -18 but alarm light and temperature digits still flashing. Both still flashing this morning. Why?
