    Hi,
The new Aristocrat is about the same as the Prelude. I like their sound and they seem to be built well. The Yamaha will have to go on Ebay, I'm afraid. There are many shops and people that work on horns that will buy it to fix. The horn will probably sell for much less than the $250 you bought it for. Unfortunately valves are the most important part of the horn and will detract from the price tremendously.

Crappy non-answer given ...just put the numbered valves in their proper order and youre cool.  Every valve has a number written on it.  #2 will slot into the middle, #1 closest to mouthpiece and #3 closest to bell.  Rotate the number 1 marked valve till its in and you can blow thru the horn .  Put 2 an 3 in with their numbers facing the same direction as the number 1 valve you just put in.  All is good Ali...so no mo BS and let the trumpet sound!
