My friend is going through a research on the topic of what are the Supplements for nasal allergy? As I have to offer my research to various newspapers to publish. Is there any authentic website where I can get relevant text?

Following supplements are advice able to be taken for allergy control:

    Take Vitamin C.

Histamines are what cause allergy symptoms. Taking 2,000 mg of vitamin C daily can reduce histamine production within the body by 38% and can slash allergy symptoms by 74% (according to the Ear, Nose, and Throat Journal). Talk to your doctor about taking vitamin C for your allergies. You might take 500-1,000 mg 3 times every day.

    Try stinging nettles.

This herb can be taken via capsules (100 mg 2-3 times daily). Or, for even better absorption, pour a cup of boiling water over 2 teaspoons of freeze dried stinging nettles. Steep for 20 minutes and drink twice daily.

Ask your doctor about quercetin, another histamine blocker.

Quercetin helps vitamin C to work even better as well as prevents nasal inflammation. Take 500 mg 3 times a day.

    Opt for nasal sprays.

Nasal sprays have been shown to be more effective than oral medications by reliefivng postnasal drip, sneezing, and congestion.

Try over the counter allergy medicine.

Although they do not last as long as prescribed allergy medicine, they can work as well or even better but they can also cause drowsiness.
