i bought it for christmas but when i turn it on it it says pleas wait and it stays like that

    Hi,
    There should be a little switch on the bottom of your gigabeat. switch it to the opposite side and the gigabeat should turn off. Leave it off for a few seconds, then switch it back and turn your Gigabeat back on. This should work
