Can anyone tell me about PLC. What is the purpose of PLC. Please tell me.

A PLC is an apparatus that was created to replace the essential sequential relay circuits for appliance control. The PLC works by looking at its inputs and counting upon their state, rotating on/off its outputs. User gives the instruction through a program via software, to get the expected results. PLCs are used in numerous applications. It has great importance in many industries. It is commonly used in machining, packaging, material handling, automated assembly or countless others industries. You might be already using them. If you are engaged in milling, wrapping, material management, automated assembly or countless other industry, you might be getting benefit from them. But if you are not, you are wasting your money and time. Most of applications require a plc for some type of electrical control. For demonstration, let's suppose that when a switch turns on we desire to turn a solenoid on for 5 seconds and then turn it off despite of how long the switch is on for. We can manage this with a straightforward external timer. But what if the method encompassed 10 swaps and solenoids? We would require 10 external timers. What if the method furthermore required enumerating how numerous times the switch individually turned on? We require many of external counters. As you can glimpse, a PLC has more importance for bigger process for us. We can easily program the PLC to enumerate its inputs and turn the solenoids on for the particular time. I Hope you have got enough information to understand PLC.
