what will happen if I donot enter my AdSense PIN within 6 months?

I have received my PIN but due to certain conditions I am unable to do that. I like to know what will happen I am unable to enter it within the given 6 months

    If you have not entered your PIN within 6 months, your account will be disabled and your unpaid earnings will be refunded to the appropriate advertisers.
