Allama Iqbal International Airport has most of the facilities available on other international airports of the world. As Pakistan is an Islamic state and most of the population is of Muslims, it is necessary to have designated prayer area at the airport. At Allama Iqbal International Airport the designated prayer area is located in the terminal building of the Airport. The prayer area is opened 24 hours a day; the Prayer Room is located for ease of access in the Domestic and international lounges separately for ladies and gents with at ablution places. The prayer room is properly arranged to create the right setting for Muslim Prayers. The prayer area is not available in briefing area of international and domestic departure area due to the lack of space at the Lahore airport. But the passengers can use the prayer area to offer prayer any time at the airport.
