   Hi,
   On 94 and earlier models it is located behind the glove box or close to the ECM.

   1988 through 1991 have the buffer built in to the speedo. It does not have a seperate buffer/drac. To change speedo for different gears or tires you have to recalibrate at speedo. There is a kit that you get from GM that includes the parts needed to change speedo calibration.GM Part no. 25085515
