     You're camera most probably has a CCD (image sensor) problem which is a hardware error in the sensor. This is a widely spread problem common in digital cameras. The CCD is damaged due to a high temperature and humidity giving your shots with horizontal white thin lines.

    Another likely problem maybe with the LCD or the connection with the LCD. You can buy a replacement or try to repair it yourself to get better results.

    Canon A4xx series also faces the problems of horizontal lines in image while flashing in day light when the shutter flex cable inside the lens is broken.

    . At day the images will be overexposed with horizontal lines on it, but it could look better at dark / night. In such cases the flex has to be replaced.
