1997 Chrysler Sebring factory stereo not working

i replaced it with a aftermarket cd player and still no sound the stock would light up and work just fine just no sound ether ive tried hooking the blue wire to power to try and bypass amp still nothing any idea

    Hi,
    On many CD changers if something happens to the changer the system controller will (basically)stop talking/communicating with the changer. The problem may be due to one or possibly two CDs being loaded at the same time which caused the changer to jam up. If you are mechanically inclined you may be able to disassemble the changer to manually back out the jammed CD's.
