2003 thunderbird, no heat, climate control panel works, blower, display etc.

   working on one right now. found heater core, hoses, coolant flow control valve all clogged with a thick paste type substance. no coolant flow = no heat. check heater hose going in to see if it's hot. if so, check the 2 return hoses at the flow control valve, located on the fan shrowd just below upper radiator hose.  if the lines are cold, there's no flow. clould be a restriction, or defective flow valve
