2006 suzuki s83 wont shift correctly, mostly to lower gears

    There must be something wrong with the transmission.
    In an automatic car the gears change without the driver having to do it. It the gears are not changing, then an auto mechanic would need to fix it.

    If the selector handle wont release , newer cars have a relay , that controls the lock , if it

    (the relay) boes bad , it wont shift , you can go under the hood ,look for the relay station , see which

    one controls the shifter ,remove it , and replace with an identical relay , sost are the same ,

    check pins underneath ,., that relay shouldnt control anything to run the motor , plug it in ,

    see if it shifts , great get a new relay at the auto parts, if not , other problems.
