    Since 1992 the pyramid was the image used to represent a healthy diet. Now the Department of Agriculture of the United States we have a new chart: the dish.

    Here are some new rules suggested by the USDA:

    1. Eating nutrient dense foods

    Today we eat too much junk food that contains empty calories. We replace whole grains, protein, vitamins and minerals.

    These foods help you feel full and are mostly used by the body. Replaces eg white rice with brown (like bread) and fill at least half your plate with fruits, vegetables and grains.

    Two. Consume less solid fats and sugars

    Solid fats are eg butter, margarine and animal fat. Most sugars we consume without noticing found in drinks such as soft drinks and juices.

    Remove the fat from the meat (we promise you will taste even) and remove the skin from chicken. Beware of hidden sugar in condiments. Czech all labels and eliminates or reduces the use of those containing several grams.
