Question:

91 Mercury 60 tilt and Trim

My 91 Mercury 60 tilt and trim only work in one direction at a time. If I reverse the two wires from the switch it will work in the opposite direction. Still only one direction at a time.
Is there some kind of relay broken or something and is it an easy fix?

    there should be two relays under the motor cover one relay works the up and other works the down follow the green and blue wire from the trim motor back to the relays just swap relays to find out witch one is bad.
