Question:

97 suburban will not start.

will crank but wont turn over, replaced coil wire still wont work... has problems starting when it rains or lots of moisture.

    I have had the exact same problem with my 1999 suburban and just this morning it was finally fixed.  Turned out that they needed to put a sealant around the distributor cap. The mechanic that worked on it had the same problem with his suburban and this fix has done the job for him.
