A navigation device has not been detected

When I try to load the miomap on my mio C320 I get the following message: "A navigation device has not been detected"  
Any Idea how I can resolve this issue ?

    you need to reinstall your navigation device

    that is exactly what I am trying to do.  It does not recognize my Mio C320 as a GPS device

    Anyone has a better Idea ?
