Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended Installation
1a. Disable Anti-Virus incase of false alerts.
1b. Do not start installing Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended just yet.
2. First, you must edit your hosts file. You have two options.
Option A: Copy the hosts file from the downloaded 'Keygen' folder, and paste it in this folder:
C:windowssystem32driversetc
Option B: Copy and paste the following servers below to your hosts file located in
C:windowssystem32driversetc
127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 practivate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 ereg.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate.wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 3dns-3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 3dns-2.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns-2.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns-3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 ereg.wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate-sea.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 wwis-dubc1-vip60.adobe.com

Right click, select 'Open', and open with Notepad. Once finished, select save, not save as. If you cannot save because of administrative privileges, then save the hosts file as a .txt on the desktop. Then remove the .txt extension, and copy and paste the file back into C:windowssystem32driversetc. If you are having trouble removing the .txt file, refer to my FAQ at the bottom of my thread.
3. Once finish, navigate back to the download.
4. Double click on Photoshop_12_LS1.exe.
5. Click extract.
6. Once extraction is done, navigate to the folder 'Adobe CS5' on your desktop.
7. Open the folder, and keep opening folders until you see 'Set-up.exe'
8. If you get a notice from Adobe asking you to restart, it is better that you restart. If you have already restarted and the message keeps appearing, simply click 'Ignore and Continue'.
9. When the Adobe Installer appears, start off by selecting Accept.
10. Select "Provide a serial number" and use the downloaded Keygen.
11. Select your language in the top right corner, and click next.
12. Select your version of Adobe Photoshop CS5 for your computer's architecture. To find your computer's architecture, go to Control Panel > System and Security > System and there it will say whether your computer is running in 32-Bit or 64-Bit.
13. Install.
14. Once you are finished, Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended should be working. Have fun.
