You can purchase up to a maximum of 35kg or an extra two pieces of Additional Qantas Baggage Allowance per flight in a single transaction.

If you are travelling to a domestic destination or an international destination other than the Americas (excluding flights from Japan), you can purchase Additional Qantas Baggage Allowance in bundles of 5kg, 10kg, 15g, 25kg or 35kg
If you are travelling to or from the Americas, you can purchase up to a maximum of two additional pieces of checked baggage at 23kgs per piece per flight.
The additional baggage purchased is added to your free checked baggage allowance. For example, if you are entitled to a checked baggage allowance of 23kg but also have 12kgs of excess baggage you can purchase a bundle of 15kg of Additional Baggage Allowance online for your upcoming Qantas operated flight and your new checked baggage allowance for this particular flight will be 38kg.

If you arrive at the airport with baggage over your entitled baggage allowance, including any pre-purchased Additional Baggage Allowance, Qantas excess baggage rates will apply which are charged on a per kilo basis for weight based allowances.

Regardless of travel destination, Qantas does not accept individual bags that are above 32kg. Weight over and above 32kg will need to be packed into another bag.
