I have been in teaching profession for about 5 years or so and enjoying every bit of it. I did Bachelors in Mathematics and Statistics while Masters in Social Sciences. I can teach English as good as anyone else can but not get accommodated in a good educational institute as I do not have a Masters Degree in English. A friend of mine suggested moving to Japan as they often require English teachers. I just want to know if there are any English teaching jobs available in Japan.

Yes there are some good English teaching jobs in Japan. Since late 80s, a large number of schools in Japan have been focusing on teaching English. The Mombukagakusho (Ministry of Education) has finally realized that the best way to improve English fluency at the high school level is to start early. Hence there are a lot of English teaching jobs in Japan with reasonably good salaries like ¥230,000 to ¥255,000 per month. Nevertheless, it is good to have some knowhow of Japanese language for personal convenience.
