I was having problems with my stomach and that continued for about a couple of months or so. I am fond of eating meat but with this stomach problem I was not able to have any. Even if I would have a bite it would result in constipation. When I went to the doctor he advised me to have porridge oats in the breakfast as it will ease of the stomach problem and particularly constipation. When I get up in the morning there are many other things to do and since I am bachelor living all alone so have no time to cook for myself. I would like to know if I eat the porridge oats raw would it be equally beneficial or otherwise.

There is certainly no harm in eating uncooked porridge oats but make sure that you do take a glass of hot milk or any liquid along with it. The uncooked porridge oats are often dry so they tend to suck fluid out of your system if there is no liquid intake.
