Last month I had some kind of infection in my left ear as a result of which there was some fungal discharge flowing out of my ear. The doctor advised me VELOSEF antibiotics and also told me to have a glass of milk daily after taking it. The wetness I was feeling inside my ear dried up after taking antibiotics for a week or so. However, I was quite surprised when I weighed myself as I had gained around 5 kg of weight despite the fact I do not remember eating that much during the infection. For this reason, I would just like to know if there are calories in antibiotics or not.

Normally there are no calories in any kind of medicine and particularly the antibiotics. If there would be any calories for instance they would be hardly around 4 or 5 at the most. Your weight gain could be a result of not working out all that much. Besides, if you have increased your milk intake this may have resulted in increasing your weight.
