I have listening to stories and watching a lot of movies about werewolves. It would not be wrong to say that as a child I was rather crazy about knowing, listening and reading about werewolves. I also used to write stories myself about werewolves and often awarded appreciation certificates for the stuff I wrote. However, if I am to share such stories with my kids who certainly belong to the new generation they would always ask if the werewolves do really exist or not. Hence, I would like to know if werewolves real or just a myth.

Right from our childhood, most of us happen to know werewolves as mythological or folkloric humans having an ability to transform into a wolf or a wolf-like creature, either intentionally, or as a result of being bitten by another werewolf, who was having some kind of a curse, often associated with the appearance of the full moon. The concept of werewolves existing in real prevailed along with many other such beliefs in the era when there are hardly any scientific inventions or beliefs. Hence it can be said that the werewolves do not exist in real.
