I always love red lipstick, but don’t know why it doesn’t suit me, may be because of my extra fair complexion. It looks too odd actually. But I feel there’re different shades in red, so possibly some can suit me. Can someone please help me finding the best red lipstick for fair complexion? Provide me some brands’ shade cards if possible, else it will be too difficult to find a particular color in different brands…………………. Thanks in Advance, Susan

Susan, it’s a bit difficult to find red lipstick for fair skin. Most important thing you should consider is to keep a balance. To do this check out two pictures below, i.e. one is deep fair skin and other is less fair or can say bit darker. Here the fairer skin looks great with true red while darker looks perfect with orange-red.
Only in few cases the true red suits fair because it’s not only your complexion that affects the lipstick shade but your face cut and hair color as well. For instance, check out the image below, here the fairer skin looks cool in a blue-red too.
