   If you are able to join merchant marine, it is probably the best career path you can find in armed forces. It is worth-mentioning here that different countries have different rules so as to join merchant marines which is commonly known as merchant navy in some countries.    The joining process is very much the same as other armed forces. You have to visit the Merchant Marines headquarters to get the application form which can also be downloaded from the website. After filling the application form and submitting it with other necessary documents, you will be given a date for test and interview. If you are successfully done with all the tasks your name will be shortlisted while the final selection will depend on the merit or the seats available.
