I have been pregnant for nearly 2 years now (two children back to back) and have forgotten quite a bit about what it was like being on birth control.  It is a possibility I could have become pregnant but a slim chance at that, I've just noticed a heavier discharge while on birth control just like I hadn't gone on it at all.  Have some funny cravings for vegetables.... do you have discharge while on the pill?

    Hi There,
A heavy discharge is not related to a creamy period. Your discharge is call "cervical mucus" and is secreted by the cervix to help sperm manage the egg during intercourse. When the discharge is crystal clear and very stretchy (ie: you can stretch it between your thumb and index finger more than one inch) you are at your most fertile time of the month.

Your length, on the other hand, is the discharge of blood facing your uterine wall that occurs when you are not impregnate. While the uterine blood and the cervical mucus are important for child conception, they are not related within terms of mass of one another.

I also do not recommend taking the birth control pill for long periods of time due to the unnatural amounts of hormones it contains. It regularly leads to long possession side effects such as migraine headaches, ADHD type symptoms, and mood swings.

    Good luck!
