If I could remember correctly, my father bought a Yamaha motorbike in early 1980’s. It has now been more than 30 years, with the exception of faded color; the bike is still the same as it used to be when it was newly bought. In these 30 years, we have bought many bikes but none of them could match the quality of Yamaha that is still ridden by my father. I would like to know that if now I want to buy a new motorbike, should I be going for Yamaha or Honda motorbike as it is quite common in Pakistan.

There is no doubt about the fact that presently most of the bikes that are used in Pakistan are manufactured by Honda Company. The people of Pakistan and particularly the motorbike users usually go for two things, the price of the bike and its fuel consumption. As far as the price and fuel consumption is concerned, one can easily say that Honda is better off than Yamaha. However, when there is a question about durability and reliability, Yamaha motorbike is miles ahead than Honda. People who wish to travel fairly long distances within or outside the city prefer Yamaha bikes as they are strong and comfortable for longer rides.
