Lexus now has to offer a 552-horsepower dose of nose-candy-colored LFA . It is really amazing news and all the people want a competition of Japanese supercars, there is a lot still to be learned and said about the $375,000 LFA.

First we have to know that what does $375,000 buy? It offers 3562 pounds of the purest, highest quality speed that Japan has ever produced. Lexus claims the top speed of 202 mph from the LFA's 4.8-liter, Formula-1 which is derived from 552-horsepower V-10. $232.00 per kilo or 6.5 lbs/hp are impressive numbers.

Lexus claims it didn't plan on racing the LFA, and for the first time, that seems a lot clear. More than 70 rubber gasket Torx bolts keep the front and two rear belly trays attached to the car.

AlThough the LFA is rear drive, and we strap it to K&N's all-wheel drive Superflow dynamometer. Because we tested long-term, 2010 Nissan GT-R on the exact same system few months earlier. Expectations are pretty high, and K&N's dyno squad has a ritual when special cars have a pull like this. Everyone now presents a horsepower number and throws it into buck for a winner to take-all dyno lottery. Most of the people don't know much about the LFA, except what they've seen.

In the GTR Since launch control has been removed, all it takes is power braking to help load the transmission and build boost. Then sledgehammer the pedal and hold on.

The GT-R hits 60 in just 3.5 seconds to the LFA's 3.8. Two to three, three to four -- the GT-R almost pulls even as both accelerate into the triple digits. Only now the LFA starts to its top end dominance. That it has a three-tenths of a second advantage which is gone by 90 mph.  The LFA hits 100 mph which is four-tenths faster than the GT-R and it just keeps going. As both past the quarter-mile marker, the LFA never looks back.
