There was always a dew factor seen on Indian grounds which has always proved to be an advantage for the side batting second. Everyone was expecting that as Pakistan innings would progress, there will be dew factor which will ofcourse favour the Pakistani batting. All of a sudden, the pitch that looked so much good for batting and has always produced a number of runs for the batsman, got totally changed in the second innings. This did not surprise the Pakistani batsman but it was a big shock for the cricket experts who had declared the Mohali pitch as Batsman paradise before the start of the match. Besides, there was no dew factor seen in Pakistani batting which was also quite worth-surprising for all the cricket experts. Not only India but the whole subcontinent is quite famous for the dew in ground at night. Quite remarkably, this was not the case when Pakistan batting as batting looked extremely difficult after first 15 overs of the Pakistan innings. On the other hand, the outfield which during Indian batting seemed to be lightning quick appeared to have been spread with glue or some other substance. Although the ground was said to be sprayed with a chemical to resist the dew factor, but the question is why the same spray never helped other teams when India batted second. Not a single Indian player or fielder on the ground was seen with towel, trying to wife off the dew from the ground. This is a big question which has gone unanswered.
