After making a successful run chase of 260 runs in world cup 2011 quarter final against the champion team no other than Australia, does this mean that its better to chase on winning the toss?

So far in World Cup 2011, it has been seen that in big matches the teams that have batted second, particularly in a day and night match, have been very comfortable while chasing runs under lights. The English and South African chase against India and then India chasing against Australia in the all important big quarter final, some how has supported the decision of batting second after winning the toss. Nevertheless, when it comes to a big match, its always good to bat first.
