I have a question regarding the compatibility of a printer with a certain version of windows. The scenario is that I have HP PSC 1500 and I want to install windows 7 on it. I am not very much whether or not the printer HP PSC 1500 is compatible with Windows 7. I would greatly appreciate if someone could give me any idea on whether the HP PSC 1500 is compatible with windows7 professional.

If we look at the specs of the HP PSC 1500, it comes into our knowledge that HP PSC 1500 is compatible with Windows 7, Windows 2003, Windows Me, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows Vista, Windows NT and Windows XP. The printer HP PSC 1500 All-in-One, can be used to print, copy, and scan in true-to-life color and laser-quality black. A sensitive control panel and eight one-touch buttons make it simple to create color or black-and-white copies up to 8.5 x 11, and enlarge and resize photos for framing. Now the photos can be printed without a PC being connected to a PictBridge-enabled camera to the printer's front USB port. On the other hand the PC can be used including HP Image Zone software to organize, edit and print photos with or without borders up to 8.5 x 24 panorama. This is actually one of the good features of windows 7, that you can use drivers all the way back to win 98 for comparability or the problem you are having with your print drivers. Most programs will work, but incase there is a problem then just run the .exe of the program in compatibility mode.
