Has anyone ever had a real encounter with a ghost or spirit?

    I personally have never had an encounter with a being from the spirit world but I certainly believe that they definitely do happen and know a cousin that I trust completely has seen one. The event occured in Malaysia about 10 years ago. My cousin was with family renting a cottage when she saw a pale figure - an old lady walk up the stairs and turn to look at her. Her younger sister also saw the woman briefly afterwhich she disappeared seemingly without a trace.

   
   

   My cousins have never touched alcohol or drugs and the event took place at 11 pm, early enough for them not to have been tired enough to imagine it.
