There have been 4 people and 2 organizations that have won multiple Nobel prizes. John Bardeen won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1956 and in 1972; Marie Curie won the 1903 Nobel Prize in Physics and the 1911 Nobel Prize in Chemistry; Linus Pauling won the 1954 Nobel Prize in Chemistry and the 1962 Nobel Peace Prize; and Frederick Sanger won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1958 and 1980. The two groups are the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1954 and 1981; and the International Committee of the Red Cross won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1917, 1944, and 1963.
