A couple of days back I was playing soccer with my kids. All of a sudden something went wrong with my eldest son and he started breathing quite heavily and seemed almost as if running out of breath. I am not sure whether it was due to some kind of allergy from the dust or an indication of Asthma. I would like to know if there is anyone with Asthma information for parents.

The parents with children suffering from Asthma need to be very much careful about their kids as it is a common childhood disease. Generally in children, the most common symptoms of Asthma are coughing and wheezing. In other cases it could be difficulty in breathing and tightness of chest. If a child is young and often has wheezing with colds or respiratory infections, he or she is most likely to have Asthma. Hence parents need to careful for any Asthma triggers that may be caused by:

    • Smoking in presence of your kids with Asthma

    •
    • Animals’ furs or feathers

    •
    • Over exertion while playing
