    Hi,
Your Henry F. Miller upright was manufactured in 1905 based on the serial number you've provided. As for the repairs and value, a technician must visually inspect the instrument and assess the condition of the following:

    1. belly (soundboard, ribs, pinblock, bridges)
    2. strings
    3. action
    4. damper action
    5. keyboard
    6. pedal hardware
    7. lyre (if so equipped)
    8. case/cabinet/finish.

Once the above is known, a fair market value can be assigned and parts ordered. If you do not already have a technician, you can get a referral from the Piano Technicians Guild (www.ptg.org).

    Good luck.
