Hi i have a Premier The green light lights up when switched on but the screen is blank

   Hi,
   On Power On*
   -fans spin at regular speed, do not stop until I shut it off
   -power light in front comes on, stays on, no flickering
   -the other, red, light in front that flickers with activity (sorry, forgot the name) does not come on, but this is an older comp and it may be just out
   -As I said earlier, HD works fine for access, windows possibly corrupt?
   -when plugged into a screen, shows NOTHING on the screen (goes orange, but does not run self-diagnostic like it does when not plugged into anything)
   *-----*tried plugging directly into MB and into Graphics Card, same result
   -when speakers are plugged in, they click once when it starts up (like normal) but no windows theme plays afterwards
   
   I'm thinking it's Windows' fault, but I'm hoping someone could find something else I'm missing?
   
   I also did the bit with an eraser on the memory stick, didn't help.
   
   I switched everything onto another motherboard and still had the same result, no image/no sounds. Like windows won't boot.
