History of Air India Cargo

Does Air India provide Cargo services? I want to send some luggage to one of my friend in India and I think Air India is a good airline. So I want to send through Air India.

    Air India Cargo was set up in 1954, and started its freighter operations with a Douglas DC-3 Dakota aircraft, giving Air India the distinction of being the first Asian airline to operate freighters.
