How can I parcel items from Australia to America?

I live in USA, my family is in Australia and I need to send them something. Please tell me how?

Parcels can be sent throughout the world from Australia and parcel sending is available to Europe and the USA only is seamail. Different parcel sizes have different costs and there is a 20kg maximum weight. Airmail is available to Europe, the USA and the rest of the world but is considerably more expensive. Again different parcels and also different destinations incur different costs and have a maximum of 20kg weight.
All post offices in Australia hold mail for visitors and city GPO's have a poste restante sections. If you hold an Amex card or Amex traveler's cheques then you can arrange to have your mail sent to American Express offices in big cities in America.
