U.S. National Cancer Institute stated that roughly one out of every 14 men and women in the U.S. will be identified with lung cancer at any stage in their lifetime.
   
   Lung cancer is a syndrome especially of the ancient age; nearly 70% of the population identified with lung cancer are above 65 years of age, while less than 3% of lung cancers happen in persons under 45 years of age.
   
   Lung cancer infection was not conventional before 1930s but spectacularly expanded over the next decades as the habit of tobacco smoking flourished. In numerous under developed nations, the tendency of lung cancer is starting to drop following public learning about the hazards of tobacco smoking and the trends of productive smoking-cessation programs. But the lung cancer remains the highly common kinds of cancers in both men and women globally. In the U.S., lung cancer has overstepped the breast cancer as the most common factor of cancer-related deaths in women.
