   If Express Seats for american airlines are available on  particular flight they will appear on the seat map at the Self-Service Check-In machine which can be viewed when you indicate you would like to change your seat during the check-in process. Then you can choose whether to purchase an Express Seat, and pay with a credit card. A receipt for the Express Seat will be printed, along with your boarding pass, at the end of the transaction.
