Earthquake can erupt a Tsunami. Its very simple when ever there is earthquake in sea it makes water of the sea to form huge waves starting from the epic center in sea towards the land area if the distance of epic center in sea is close to the dry land then the area struck with Tsunami waves which are the most horrifying waves of the sea towards land.

These tidal waves can normally reach up to 10 to 15 feet. But at maximum these waves can also hit up to 120 to 150 feet depending upon the power of quake.

Tsunami is basically uneven shake of sea bed with make water to turn brutal.

When an earthquake happens beneath the sea, the water above the deformed area is displaced from its equilibrium position which forms waves as the displaced water mass. This massive water acts under the influence of gravity, attempts to regain its equilibrium causing Tsunamis.

Earthquakes occurring in areas with seashore are at risk of Tsunami as a part of earthquake is undersea which disrupts the water equilibrium there and creates a Tsunami.
