How do you think Seth MacFarlane did hosting the Oscars?

    As a preface, let me start by saying that I am a big big fan of MacFarlane's work with Family Guy (not a fan of any other/similar show he has) as well as his film debut Ted. Beyond that however, he did a great job hosting the Oscars this year.

   
   

   Seth is great at combining very smart and subtle humour with over the top and often borderline inappropriate material. Family Guy as well as his Oscar bits were envelope pushing and spared no one. He added his creative and talent elements as well by singing while also flexing his celebrity muscle with the involvement of many a celebrity in his acts.
